Best place in all of nz Positive: Awesome stay. And had a rice cooker thanks for that. Superb location too

Loved our stay and would definitely book again. Positive: Loved the location and the overall feel of the home, very spacious with lovely clean comfortable beds too.

Positive: Location was amazing. Generally spacious, with lovely lake views. Spa pool was a bonus. Comfy beds. Negative: Cleanliness was not the greatest. For the price paid, I would expect clean windows and no cobwebs inside. Also, the fridge needed a wipe out, and made a maddening prolonged beeping as soon as the door opened. Everyone commented on it. Downstairs toilet had a basin/mirror that was difficult to use. Downstairs shower was in a cupboard, and had no extractor fan - very odd. Overall the property seemed a little tired...... the walls were scuffed and the sofas had cheap covers on them. Could not fault the location, but value for money - not so sure.

We absolutely loved the location, views and feel. None of us wanted our holiday at Taupo to end. Positive: Amazing views and fantastic being so close to town. The coffee van straight across the road was an added bonus!! The house was clean and felt relaxed. Having a spa looking out across the lake was fantastic. Negative: For our next stay, we would like to request less cloud covering the mountain!!! :-P - JUST KIDDING - there was nothing we didn't like.
