Gather Taupo - Lake view - Spa Pool

Lovely property with outdoor deck and lake views Positive: Lovely property with a view of the lake from the living room and deck (we stayed in house 2 which has house 1 in front to the left). Lake access is via a gate on the property then across the road or around the neighbouring corner property. A coffee cart appears permanently set up but the house also has a coffee pod machine. The kitchen is small but has everything you need if you want to cook along with a single dish drawer. The rooms are a good size and we had the single beds pushed together for super king size to accommodate couples. Negative: Sadly the spa wasn't warm but we have since learnt the manager could have come to adjust that so message if you find this.

Great spot, excellent facilities, hosts were great.

Perfect base for the Kinloch Offroad Challenge and a memorable girls weekend away Positive: Close to everything and suited our needs for a girls weekend perfectly. Comfy beds and everything was clean and well presented. Spa was lovely after completing the Kinloch Offroad Challenge. Negative: A coffee plunger would have been a nice addition but otherwise everything was great :)

We had a great time as a group reconnecting. The living space was a bit small for the six of us but being Deaf means we Positive: The beds and pillows! Sooooo comfortable. Everyone got a great nights sleep. Location and view. Negative: This is a list of things to have a Dpring Clean going iver to bring it up to scratch and have people feel they got galue for money. Coffee machine won't prick coffee pods properly so couldn't use it Oven door seals worn and sagging ... needs replacing Oven needs instructions on wall to turn it on properly. It was very difficult. Smoke alarm should be placed in lounge not right in kitchen. Outside deck light doesn't work. No spare linen for 'accidents' . (Spilt tea on bed) No 'folder above' with washing / drier instructions as wall sign said there would be ... not above washing machine or 'above' in top shared living area. Multiple brown chest or pubic hairs in top bathroom Black Mark on door under clothes hook in top bathroom Need to take the shower door bottom seal off and clean the yellow brown gunk out No extracter fan in bottom bathroom Front Door constantly sticks and won't open even with right number. Takes five or more tries each time. Kitchen clock battery flat ... doesn't tell the time. Stain on ceiling by cup cupboard A lot of condensation on the windows especially downstairs.
