Gather Taupo - Lake view - Spa Pool

Beautiful location to enjoy all that Taupo has to offer! Positive: Beautiful location opposite the lake & the best coffee cart in town! Walking distance to town beside the lake. Beds very comfortable and cosy. Negative: N/A

Great location. Just not lucky enough on that day. Positive: Good communication from property owner (property manager) and helpful. It has all you need in terms of facilities for family vacation. Great view as well. We missed it. It hope its pest control done, cleaned and sanitised now. I will definitely go again if they promise it. Negative: Property manager promised for pest control on the call after the incident below. Unfortunately when we went, it was full (i mean a lot of bugs crawling on the ceiling, floor and from the heat pump unit). Completely disgusted. To be honest, the property manager did helped to send someone to clean up that night and change the bedsheets immediately. Despite that they just kept on coming. We vacated late night at 11pm with young kids without any accomodation left in Taupo (due to Matariki). End up paying so much somewhere at 1am check-in. It was extremely challenging for us. Refund was given in full but our difficulties & experience remained a nightmare on that day. Bugs are common in NZ especially in winter its hiding in warmer place. I dont mean to tarnish their reputation.

Great option with lovely views of the lake, would love to stay again! Positive: House was clean and comfortable. Clear and easy communication with owners. Negative: Great use of space and if warm, can spill over into balcony. With colder weather, living space is quite limited. Our group of 5 were very comfortable.
